[Kickstarter] Hunters vs. Undead
I just came across this and wanted to spread the word. Unfortunately it's down to the last 22 hours. It's by a new German sculptor (only 20 years old) and the figures look nice. Everything is sculpted and he's just trying to fund the first casting run. Please check it out. 28mm White Metal Fantasy M...

Re: Manorhouse Workshop 3D Bases Kickstarter Preview
I'm very curious about this too and I plan to check it out when it goes live. The two issues I have are: 1) Cost of shipping. This is still an unknown. 2) Metric measurements. 30cm is pretty close to 12 inches. Many people won't care. There will be gaps if you try to integrate directly into a DF lay...

Re: Rich Red Color - Paint Advice Please
@unclebilly - Wow, I think you might have a problem. Awesome collection. Reds are hard. ForestZ has it. The base color will make or break reds. Those cloaks look great. This just came in on one of my feeds so I thought I would share it for inspiration: James Wappel Miniature Painting: The Red Wave h...

Re: Best Orcs
I didn't see these before but they are by Ian Mountain, the same sculptor who did the pig-faced orcs for Mortal Arrow that I listed above. He's also done a lot of work for Crooked Dice and the D&D cartoon project currently on Kickstarter. I just ordered these to add to my Mortal Arrow orcs. I se...

Re: [Kickstarter] Dungeon Explorers
Glad you're on board, Oldent. It looks like a fun set of figures. I only wish he would have opened with the painted versions. I think the campaign would have had a stronger start. Also, I was going on about Uni being a potential add-on. It turns out that Uni didn't have the opportunity to grow into ...

Re: Hedge Maze Prototypes
Very nice, LadySabelle. I can't wait to see the finished pieces. I'm sure it was a pain to get everything to match up regardless of the orientation of the piece but it will pay off in the long run.

Re: ral-parthas-chaos-wars wave two
Oh man, I used to spend hours looking through the Ral Partha catalogs. I still have one somewhere around here. I remember getting together with my friends to play D&D and we would spend half the time trading miniatures. Good memories.

Re: Best Orcs
I find the Ral Partha orcs look good with "true scale" 28mm figures like Tre Manor's Red Box Games line. They'll look small next to a lot of larger scale stuff like Reaper. I still love these figures.
