Witcher sets?Erenor Silvershield wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 8:10 pm Agreed, Clint. Fortunately some good stock is coming to keep us occupied, but now my Cities 2 money is likely to be spent expanding my Wildlands collection. I need some unpainted to match the Witcher sets I’ve been seeing…

Re: Forest floor color consistency
It seems to be so much ahead of its competition and seems to come with so few drawbacks that it has become the go-to solution for the communication needs of many hobbyists that organize themselves online. It doesn't seem that much different from Slack to me? I use slack a lot more than discord. Bot...

Re: Thoughts on the secondary environment?
Yeah, Nate’s always commenting on the factory freaking out about the number of skus. I don’t see a big secondary environment. They’ve nixed expanding streets and been fairly open about limiting the rural feel. Yeah, and honestly I'd much prefer they do streets rather than a secondary environment. I...

Re: Any Wheel of Time fans out there? *spoilers*
If I look at the Witcher series on Netflix, they also had an average first season as well, but I really liked the second season that came out this month. The witcher had a horribly confusing first season that didn't help. The latter part of the first season and second season was better. Geralt gets...

Re: Any Wheel of Time fans out there?
I do not mind white per se, just not the overly pristine synthetic looking white of the show. Off white works nicely. For example in yarn the Templar, Ironclad and Kingdom of Heaven. It is not as if they use magic to clean their cloaks. And the single arm armor looks just plain silly. No helmets? N...

Re: What's the Stretch Goals Game!
I'm guessing one of the stretch goals was probably a die, and others different patterns for the wood base (as you also noted)

Re: OK, I admit it -- I'm confused
I've lost track of what a 'set' even means anymore. I'd buy maybe 5 sq ft or so worth of catacombs. Maybe more, it really depends on how varied the theme is.

Re: Artifacts aren't even mentioned yet in the SG
I really think DF makes a TON of money in the PM and always has. But i am not sure about this time as most everything is decided and for sale now except for the artifacts and otherwise little stuff. DF does make a lot of money in the PM, and I expect they'll make a bunch this time too. I think the ...

Re: Sets that need to be revisited
I much prefer terrain trays/texture mats/etc. over 3D water tiles. I don't need everything on my table to be a tile. All of the water tiles that DF have produced, including KS 6.66 lava rivers, have had the issue of pronounced seams between the tiles, which break my immersion much more than any fla...
