Re: Descriptive or poetic set names?

But -- what do people think? Do the fan spreadsheets and a little focused homework on your part provide enough? Do you think the set titles could be more helpful? Was this an issue for you? Set titles could have been more helpful, although I'm not sure how without reworking the set compositions to ...

Re: Opening the Gates

Same campaign, another setup with some interesting features. Here, castle elevation blocks create a two level dungeon. http://i.imgur.com/oxCX8Uj.jpg The combination of crenelations and a light panel create a pool of acid. The party had to stop the cultists from dragging the statue of the goddess of...

MBCE wrote: Thu Apr 20, 2023 10:51 am Nice set up. What did you use to elevate the CBS side of the build? I can't make out the pieces that you used there.
8x8 floors from castles with CBS pegs plugged in underneath, plus a few elevation cubes from castles

Opening the Gates

The setup pictured is for an upcoming game. The players have infiltrated a city that's been taken over by a cult. Their mission is to open the city gates so their NPC allies and the army of citizen refugees can take the city back. Thought it would be of interest because it combines pieces from four ...

Re: Cathedral Wall pack and other new packs

lostpict wrote: Sun Feb 26, 2023 9:08 pm Still want a "just Posts" pack. I have plenty of those Abbey walls already. I feel that DF is a little deaf to the huge installed base of CBS. We don't need old CBS walls (with the exception of the new ones), we just need new floors and posts. Please hook your old customers up.

Check this video starting at about 20:45. Shows how the new system would handle an 8x8 roof. https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=LKcJJJj3fR0

Re: Unpopular opinion corner: KS8 is.. surprisingly MORE affordable than I expected?

I was slightly surprised too. I can get everything I want at a lower price than expected. Less than I spent on Wildlands (I think), where I had to prioritize want vs. "need."

Re: New castle drawbridge piece? Bigger gatehouse?

These pictures are pre-wildlands, using KS4 mountain pieces, but I think it demonstrates a use of the drawbridge where the gap spanned looks appropriately un-jumpable. Mainly because the landing area is tiny and offers little to no strategic advantage. http://i.imgur.com/iiHAzLq.jpg http://i.imgur.c...
