Re: Myrmidon SG
Nice to see some love for the Myrmidon! Sweet fiery child o' mine, the one creature I got to sculpt for this campaign amidst all the terrain. It will be a shame if we don't get to him. And to Drew's diabolic Cerberus, one badass boss beastie. Fingers crossed, there's still three hours to go.

Re: Request for pictures of painted Guard Patrol
Here are a few shots of mine. I decided to give the commander copper-colored armor, the rest have a paint scheme fairly similar to the factory one.

Re: Help! I've got DFKISS!
Painting Bones miniatures is one way to pass the time. Or, of course, painting your DF KS5 (4,3,2,1) stuff if like me you ordered unpainted. I try to hold myself to a rule of trying to get everything from the previous KS painted before the next one arrives. So far I've had about 75% success. At this...

Re: Greetings from the Forge: Part 3 Rise of the Greetings
I went to college in Boston but it's been a while since I've had a chance to enjoy the city (or scope out pizza places). It will be fun to be there again and meet some of you guys! As I recall there used to be outstanding pizza in Haymarket. And there was a Bertucci's in Harvard Square that was quit...

Re: Encounter area size question
I'll just confirm, officially, what y'all have figured out here. (And what I guess Jenney has already confirmed in the Codex.) Total Stumps in Dreadhollow Encounter: Large = 7, Small = 14 (Large: 2x Heavy Forest Floor Tiles = 2 Lg. Stumps, 3x Light Forest Floor Tiles = 3 Lg. Stumps, 1x Large Stump P...

Re: Seeking mid-budget new buyer advice
Sure, this is kind of an addiction. But it's also an investment, if you want to look at it in more positive * cough *enabling *cough * way. This stuff certainly does hold its value (just check the secondary market on eBay), so you can always resell it if you someday decide you don't want to play RPG...

Re: Seeking mid-budget new buyer advice
Hello envisionaut and welcome to the forums! It looks like the others here have given you some good advice, and you had a pretty solid plan to start with. I'll just add two things: 1. I'd consider picking up the Natural Bridge Pack. You mentioned that you like the look of the elevation, and I can co...

Re: You Can't Argue with Success
Thanks Kryzsko! We certainly appreciate hearing such things. We really do try to run the best campaign possible, and it's very gratifying when it's (mostly) very well received. This is a business, yes, but it's also a labor of love; we all care very deeply about what we're doing and it makes us happ...

Re: Feedback on latest pledge greatly appreciated.
Looks like a great selection to me. Since you're getting the Banks pack and also some Trifecta pieces, you may want to pick up some of the KS5 stone pattern terrain trays; that will open up lots more potential floor space if you need it, and also allow for easy large elevated areas (since you mentio...

Re: Help a 1st time backer out
Other things I'd suggest looking at as a newcomer, especially if you plan on using mats for some of your area, and/or expect to favor skirmish-type scenarios with larger numbers of minis: 1. The Trifecta pieces (which may appear in a pack down the line) offer great versatility, including the ability...
