Re: [Kickstarter] Reaper Bones 6 - oops! Can a mod please merge this with Zenako’s thread?

Thanks zenako, extremely helpful! Thinking I may just go in for a core pledge to see what what a reaper kickstarter is like at fulfillment to test the waters. Although there wasn't a whole lot that caught my eye in it and I definitely didn't need any more zombies...

Having never backed a Reaper KS before, I had wanted to ask here since its a bit more unbiased, is Bones 6 massively underperforming compared to their previous Kickstarters or do things really ramp up in the final few days?

Re: Bold Predictions?

I see a number of estimates based on Wildlands, and I don't think that will be right, as it is very niche and away from its core audience. So I'll guess Hellscape numbers at about 1800ish backers and average pledge of between $100 and $150 for $180,000 to $270,000 totals. I can't believe how close ...

Re: I don't believe it's negativity

The "negative posts" that are stating why they won't purchase this product is invaluable, this forum is effectively giving Dwarven Forge a free focus group that is getting into why their Kickstarter is clearly underperforming.

Re: Cost of LED's

A few years back before I did my first City Builder purchases, I made a spreadsheet that estimated the individual costs of each piece in the system, then used it to cherry pick the sets that had the best value for money. FYI for anyone interested the tudor and stone starter sets were AMAZING value. ...

Re: Does backing this Kickstarter hurt Dwarven Forge in the long run?

I find this the most reasonable explanation, given the sheer size of the price increase. What bothers me about it is that, Dwarven Forge is simultaneously trying to sell us these pieces as terrain at display art prices. It might be more palatable to me if there was some fundamental difference betwe...

Re: OK, I admit it -- I'm confused

Regardless if they are terrain/accent pieces. The real take away is the price. The average cheeto stained wanna be critical role watching neck beard, who this KSer is kind of aimed at. Is hardly going to want to get some over engineered dice bling to maybe use as terrain at every opportunity to fee...

Re: Does backing this Kickstarter hurt Dwarven Forge in the long run?

Have any of us actually suggested boycotting Dwarven Forge? I haven't really seen that. I'm in the camp that didn't see anything I could use at my price point, so it means I'm going to pass on this Kickstarter. That actually means one of two things for me, either a) I do a webstore purchase for some...

Re: Sets that need to be revisited

Supposedly the water tiles are absolutely gorgeous to look at in person. I've never seen one in person myself however they do sell out instantly whenever the store gets any and there is a very vocal group that swears by them and only them on these forums. Honestly I kinda wish they would get tossed ...

This would have been awesome, and they could have called it the "Wildlands, the Roads not Taken"!
