Re: KS6 - Puzzle Teaser 4
Seriously, you know how many of us would buy DF chocolate? Especially minis. I kill that ratfolk and I EAT HIM! :nom nom:  Funny you should say that, a friend of mine with a chocolate shop has made chocolate dungeon tiles cast off a few of my KS1 pieces, which I've brought in for the crew ...

Re: Shipping Update Please
I have no problem backing KS6 prior to KS5 delivery because I know they will deliver KS5. They have a proven track record. I also don't have a problem with KS campaigns that run a couple months late. I have heard people complain about CMON having outstanding KS while running another and yet it neve...

Re: Piece Shipping
I imagine we'll get some info when fulfillment is ready to start in earnest, and I wonder if it'll even be an option for international locales that are being bundled together. As in, if they're going to pallet up everything going to Canada for distribution from within the country, it'd make sense to...

Re: Best Kickstarter
But, do they? I mean, as far as I understand, making the molds is the expensive part, labour and materials are (comparitively) a less demanding element (per unit, obviously across millions of pieces this stuff adds up). The KS's keep making more parts, which demands more molds, which demands more mo...

Re: When will KS5 items go up for sale on the web store?
Probably depends (at least in part) on shipping of KSV. I know that sometimes damaged or missing pieces from people's packages necessitate the team cracking open boxes they'd otherwise sell, and use bits from there to make things right. That's part of how the 'buy by the pound' thing works at Gencon...

Re: What Can We Improve for KS6?
It has been brought up before, and is worth examining. However, it is harder for DF to plan on because they don't know how many of which parts will be bought. While the idea is that they'll sell enough units to bring the overall price of the unit down, thus we get a stretch goal, generally (in manu...

Re: What did you order !!!!
Kept my order simple; Dungeon 2 and Fanatics Trove, both unpainted, no magnets. If I could have justified spending the extra, I would've gone for painted pieces, and some of the Jade Serpent stuff (probably the Antechamber), but I was already over budget as it was, so the hard choices had to be made...

Re: Suggestions from the peanut gallery
I'm holding out hope to see that awesome LED treasure chest show up in KS6. It'll be nice to get some new pieces to round out my existing KS2 collection, and I'm glad to hear that the team is looking for ways to streamline things and try to keep some affordable options open. Obviously they won't fin...

Re: General advice on the proper use and care of my LED pieces
There has been some reports of people having the socket connection detach from the pillar, however. So be extra careful putting them back in whenever you do. I found that some of the LED leads were a bit narrower than they should have been to fit well, so widening them just a hair might help with th...

Re: Buying extras to resell on ebay?
It's also a great way to push up total KS sales so that everyone benefits by more Stretch Goals. I don't resent a reselker making a profit on the 2nd hand market, since a reseller is taking a significant risk of taking a loss and his funds are tied up for a prolonged amount of time. This is a reaso...
