Re: Strategies for Newbies

If they don't offer good basic floors and walls for add-ons, the KS2 tiles are a good deal and are supposed to fit right in. I think that's what I'm going to do to expand my footprint without breaking the bank. The Trifecta pieces *are* the negative space pieces in this set. You can use the floors a...

Re: Bring Back Water Tiles - Pls!!

I think William's idea of making trifecta water pieces to replace the ledges could be a cheap and effective addition.

Re: Likes and dislikes

I guess looking at them I never saw the appeal of the water tiles. I've already got builds lined up for lava negative space with ledges and bought a bunch of water trays for KSV because I'll need those builds soon enough too.

Re: Ups and downs

I think I could skip the ice caverns; I'm not yet sure about Underdoom or the forest. The Crystal Cavern is pretty much a must-have, though, and I've barely seen it. The core stuff is excellent for this non-KS2 newbie.

Re: Adventure Pack pricing?

Either they have to pre-price the Adventure Packs with at least some of the stretch goals baked in, or stretch goals wind up being even more add-on sets with extra purchase costs.

They can't change the price as the camapaign rolls on if someone pledges based on an early version of it.

Re: Interested in Basalt Cavern and Crystal Cavern set Sculpts

Interesing that there's an insert right but not yet an insert left. I'm hoping for some non-LED basalt in either Crystal Cavern or Underdoom.

There's also the 4x4 floor LED tile on which the Summoning Circle sits. It's basalt, but needs a topper to hide the clear portion.

Yeah, that... If we're lucky, it steps back from Underdoom a bit. Right now it sounds like not even the staff in Valoria know: the factory hasn't gotten a quote to them yet.

Pizzabagel wrote: Sun Jul 22, 2018 3:47 pm I have a semi-newbie question. Where can I find the blue LEDs I’m seeing in some folks pictures? We’re these part of a KS4 set?
The runic LEDs from KS4 are blue. There are some beans in the blue LEDs shown on the new cavern pieces. Those are new and not yet available.

Re: Encounter prices vs. KS5

Also, they mentioned that the detail level on the cavern pieces generally were more expensive to produce.

It should be 15min after launch for the livestream... 12:15 EDT unless someone is watching a UTC clock and counting out EST hours...
