Hey all, I just got the email regarding the soulcage vault encounter shortage... while disappointing, I thought their solution was pretty generous.

They only thing I personally think is necessary is a drybrush over original ks2 to match the warmer tone. This is my plan. Seemed to work well on the few test pieces.

So did we ever get the story on why the sculpt changed? I really did like the original, but I think you can accomplish the same thing with this piece. Is there a list some where of all the sculpt changes?

I don’t have any painted dreadhollow yet, but here was my best guess on the standard paint style for escarpments. Guess we’ll see when a painted one arrives!

Here’s the small trunk and topper next to the large trunk and topper... definitely not what I was expecting. If you can’t stack the trunks or the toppers, why are they modular?

I did not realize the large tree trunk segments have flared and tapered ends. I was looking forward to making variable tree heights Is there more than one type of large tree trunk? I’ve only opened a large tree pack. The rest of dread hollow hasn’t arrived yet.

Concerning the Mother Mushroom: Is it only me or is anybody else a little bit disappointed that the second color of the mushroom is a deep blue instead of a purple? As far as I remember they advertised the purple as the second color in the KS. :?: It was advertised as a "UV LED" in the KS...

Well, the painters are all "experts".... I still think two paint tiers would be great. Regular expert, and expert expert. :) To be fair, I don't think they would have many buyers at the "Expert expert" level if they did that. :P Can you imagine the cost of an expert paint job on...
