Re: How to get up Escarpments
I like the bridge option. It would be nice if you use some banks and have a stream running along the escarpment that the bridge them goes up and over. Stream could also double as a moat, or just another tactical advantage that made building a tower on this hill advantageous.

Re: Games During Quarantine
Is that grid overlay something in Roll20 or something you added to a picture before uploading it? Pretty sure it's Roll20's. It's got a few tools for figuring out the scale of your map to match it's grid (although it definitely requires a bit of massaging after it's automated process), and built in...

Re: Games During Quarantine
I find remote play disappointing - functional, but unsatisfying - the quick, joke or one liner is impossible to execute over a video connection and i just never feel part of the group This has been my experience in the past as well. I used to remote in to my old in person game after I moved and was...

Re: Games During Quarantine
We are about to try Roll20. I'm still working on figuring out the setup. We're not going to use half their tools though...none of the actual rules integration. I'm only planning on using it for combat and handouts. So I'm focusing on getting maps and tokens in there, any images and such. I just assu...

Re: City Builder Stone - Casting Color Change
All I know is, I would be super upset if I had ordered some CBS sets at a later date, only to find they had changed the casting color from what I originally had. I did make a couple purchases from the web store (I don't remember the dates) and fortunately they were all the same color. But I didn't o...

Re: City Builder Stone - Casting Color Change
Were only the painted CBS Stone pieces cast in lighter gray? Or is DF sending confusing messages and actually talking about the Castle sets as iPaint mentioned? Because I just checked and all my CBS unpainted stone pieces are the exact same color as the Tudor Pieces, which are the same color as all...

Re: Making due, DF forever
Very cool! I was avoiding remote gaming for my group since I've done it before and wasn't thrilled, but with this seeming like it's going to go on for a while, I'm researching my options now. Gamers gotta game!

Re: Bought a 3D printer
That’s odd. I’ve had mine for at least two years now and only use the smooth PEI sheet. I’ve never done anything other than clean with alcohol and a paper towel between every print and I’ve never had adhesion issues. I print almost exclusively with PLA, although I’ve done one PETG print on it. Also...

Re: Bought a 3D printer
So I finally did it, I pulled the trigger on a Prusa I3 MK3S. I got a Prusa about 6 months ago, and I was new to 3D printing at the time. I had a ton of problems with adhesion right off the bat, and it turned out to be because I was using the powder coated sheet instead of the PEI sheet. Just wante...
