Re: KS4 Peer Pledge Review

@Stormfury - thanks a lot for your thoughts. I have to agree, the GCitadel pledge as structured is not extremely enticing. The lack of a decent tower breakout at present and getting some of the crenellation "required" for a 100% smooth build complicates things and adds to the price. The a...

Re: Is anyone considering a non-fully-enclosed castle?

I'm afraid we have reached a point where DF cannot afford to show more and backers won't pledge more based on what is shown... Damn inertia... Another possibility is that most backers are familiar with previous Dwarven Forge Kickstarters, and know that Dwarven Forge won't reveal all of the possible...

Re: Selling my Dwarven Forge

I requested a few sets from pfworks last month, and want to give a quick assessment of the transaction... Outstanding! I just received the sets yesterday; I went through the boxes last night and overall everything I received was in excellent condition -- a lot of the pieces looked like they had neve...

Re: Is anyone considering a non-fully-enclosed castle?

I am in for a Grand Citadel as it gives me the most flexibility. I will never build it as a fully enclosed building in a game environment...we don't have the space, nor would it be functional. I will be using it for various scenarios. +1 to your entire post -- exactly my thoughts, and I have the sa...

Re: Kickstarter Sculpture Hunt Contest!

You're right, of course -- I talk to a lot of "retired" people who are far busier than they were when they were working. I'm planning to do some painting this year, but it's not at the top of my list of hobbies. I enjoy playing games (and spending time creating/planning games) in addition ...

Re: Kickstarter Sculpture Hunt Contest!

Wow -- thank you Lady Sabelle!

I'm looking forward to the day when I can focus more on the crafting/painting aspects of the hobby. At the rate things are going though, that will probably be after I retire... ;-)

Re: Imperial streets content mistake

My (painted) imperial streets set was labeled with 12 straight and 2 sewer grate streets, but had hand-written corrections to show 10 straight and 4 sewer grate streets. Most of the hand-written numbers were rubbed off, though. The interior boxes contained the correct labels on all boxes, and I rece...

Re: Selling my Resin DF so I can Afford KS4

I checked them out, but all of your DF auctions only offer shipping to Australia. I know international shipping can be prohibitively expensive, so hopefully someone in Australia will take them off your hands...

Re: Can we please get organizized?

I would prefer simpler. Having several forums and 3-5 or more subforums per forum makes finding anything more difficult for me. I'd trim it down to no subforums, and a short list of forums separated in easily-recognizable categories. I'd also make sure the categories have no significant crossover in...
