So Chuck and I decided to try a glossy clear sealer and a matte clear sealer on the walls of force to see which would look better. The order is left to right- unsealed, glossy, matte. It's a rock and a hard place for me. On one hand, I want to know before buying which sets are arriving broken and probably not worth my money for the hassle. On the other, if I don't participate in the KS I'm probably not getting any sets that I want.

If the quality presented in the project is known to be unachievable at the price offered it shouldn't be what's displayed in the project.

The only thing missing is a quick blurb about what to do if you dislike the paintjob and would have never pledged for it if you had known how it would look. Does DF expect backers to just suck it up? I have a ton of KS1 pieces that don't even match each other. I stopped worrying about it and learned to embrace the differences.
