They do, I like that. Throw some aquarium coral into a build and it’s easily converted into an underseascape.unclebilly wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2019 7:16 pm I not saying they are horrible. They just look more Sci Fi /Alien or Under the Sea to me than Underdark.

Re: Underdoom
I like it. I didn’t pledge for any underdoom because I want sure the paint would work. I really like how it came out. It seems well balanced in terms of contrast and color saturation... hopefully I can snag some from the web store when it’s released.

Re: Orc Stronghold
We like that build A LOT! Very compact, nice minis too :) Totally agree with GDM very easy to store and transport and with little setup space required ideal for a Con game. We might steal the concept but have a spiral effect to the elevations, dropping down each new tier as the players move up. Def...

Then a new campaign after this one?
That last pic is ominous, I wonder what we’ll see on the other side...

Front Doors
Here are a couple of "front doors" I've built recently. The first uses tons of foam blocks and 5 elevation trays. I used passage walls to cover the foam block foundations. The second was a fight at the entrance to a shrine of Athena. I didn't take time to fill out the cave beyond the colum...

Re: Orc Stronghold
Yes to the storage aspect. The elevation trays have gotten their share of bad press, but I personally love them. You can fit tons of walls inside by nesting them “chevron style,” as I heard one forumite say.

Re: Orc Stronghold
I’ve always wanted to try something like that, GardenDM. I’ve been to one small local con, and knew a bunch of people there, and had a great time. I’ve read plenty about similar competitive delves, but have never played one. Sounds like a lot of fun.

Re: Out of the Abyss - Gracklstugh
Also like how you used the RotA inserts and 2x2 corridors together, seems a good way to get more playable space out of my 2 sets. I’m stealing!

The front entrance pic is great, shows off how versatile the CBS stone pieces are. I’m looking forward to the castles restock to grab some square towers.
