Re: Erinthor - KS6 Style

Damn, that paint march is perfect!!! Wish I was as successful when trying to match my old dungeon of doom walls with the earlier KS'er :(. My pillars look great but the walls just don't quite match the walls of the earlier KS'er. Oh, well. It taught me to only go with painted moving forward so I hav...

Re: Accessories for KS7

I'm of the mind that I want consistency. What do I mean by that? Well, I only buy DF terrain as I want all my terrain pieces to match perfectly. As for minis I buy WotC and Paizo as they both match with the bases and design that I'm looking for. I will, however, buy minis that have not been released...

They look pretty good together scott102303! Thanks for the pics and nice set-up. Now the Samuel Adams in the background did add to my positivity.

Re: How are people planning to vary their KS8 builds?

I don't anticipate going in much with any money for an outdoor tile terrain environment. I'd jump in for any cool accessories but for simple floor pieces I'd rather go with my terrain mat's. Outdoor floor environment can be done nicely with terrain mats along with various accessories. It also can be...

Re: Too tiny treasures and tiny things

All my tiny pieces are glued to larger pieces (tables, dresser, bookshelf, etc.). I have some sitting in a bag, but they are a hassle to use and are much better suited glued to larger furniture pieces. I guess if you have only a few tables then it can become repetitive, but for me I have so many tha...

Re: Did Caverns Deep really have the basic needs?

I love your idea GODofwar of a basic dungeon tile which allows diversity such as the "picture frame" or simply a spot to add different things. I understand that it leads to many small fiddly bits but I love tiles that offer versatility. Now, Caverns Deep did offer some variety in my build,...

Re: The Lizard!

I want to say that I like lizards too, but it seems all my caverns seem to have the same one in the same spot in every dungeon.

Re: Did Caverns Deep really have the basic needs?

So as the originator of this post I appreciate all the responses. I don't frequent the boards as often as many but I always check in when I have the chance. Great conversation and thank you. However, this conversation has gone all over the map. Fun and interesting, yes, but in the end I want DF to h...

Re: The Lizard!

I had the thought of painting them different colors or simply painting them the color of the terrain to "blend in"? I'm not sure what's a better option but either is better than having this number of orange lizards all on the same rock in the same spot :)

The Lizard!

I want to start with saying that I'm very happy with my terrain! However, I'd like to offer a suggestion to not place any "orange lizards" on future terrain. I think putting such specific components on terrain pieces removes the overall diversity of the piece. Moss, fungus, lichen on the p...
