Re: KS3: What YOU are ordering and why

I wouldn't worry too much about that. The company was a small time lean company for may years. Just a few owners and limited permanent employees + services provided by others. Up until the first KS Stefano was DMing for cash on the side. They know how to keep things managable. The biggest risk they ...

Re: IMPORTANT REQUEST re: KS 3 inventory plans

One thing about the new KS is that it was structured so that it is not so easy to resell as sets. This may or may not have been intentional, but it is a (possibly good) byproduct of the rooftop number compromise.

Re: Please post home-made DF Compatible pieces

I painted up my hotglue 50mm floorpieces with various methods. Using the translucency of the glue can lead to cool effects including fissures as gold veins. I'll post some pics when I get home.

Cheers!

Re: IMPORTANT REQUEST re: KS 3 inventory plans

The rock bottom easiest thing to do would be sell the ks+stretch for $1 below the price on eBay on eBay. Easy and braindead (it can plug directly into their fulfilment center in Tennessee). With KS1 at $120 and KS2 at $100 lots of money is left on the table. Even if the price dropped to a stable $x ...

Re: KS3: What YOU are ordering and why

As part of my pledge I just picked up two caverns plus stretch for a reasonable price plus $15 eBay bucks off. KS2 was so awesome I had to jump back in.

Re: KS3: What YOU are ordering and why

Nikdo,

Do you have any insight into the Castle KS? Will it be based on the City System paradigm or the 2x2? Delivery for that is still ~2 years away. Maybe one in the (end of year) hand is worth 2 in the bush? ;P

Re: Please post home-made DF Compatible pieces

Well, I had them shipped via seamail which is tricky to do these days (in a mixed container). The thing was, I was waiting for the Bones 2 which had a nasty delay. Sending large amounts of stuff together is ideal. Each large box including land and sea shipping is $90 which is a pretty good deal. If ...

Re: KS3: What YOU are ordering and why

I think I have the battlements grocked. The correct order is 2x Tower, 1x Walls, and 2x Wall Foundations. This allows you to create a 2 level 20 inch x 20inch keep with an 12 square inch internal playable area. This is with protruding corners (three corner pieces each corner). One would also need 12...

The benefit of playing 2e is that your mental arithmatic is greatly enhanced. You can add AND subtract and in chunks!

Re: Please post home-made DF Compatible pieces

I live abroad so I have difficulty getting DF pieces (for example my KS Caverns will not get here until mid summer!). Thus I need to be creative. As an experiment I made some hotglue 50mm floor pieces from a silicone soap mold as so: http://i339.photobucket.com/albums/n450/papercut54321/Mobile%20Upl...
