Re: The Future of (DF) Sci-Fi

I agree. Crazy pricing - I did exactly that - bought some DOE and Hellscape instead. Patience will win the day. In general I see lots of crazy prices for DF on e-bay for things that are OOP in the US, but in stock for EU (or vice versa). I just bought a number of the Hellscape specialty pieces from ...

28mm Dwarf Three Musketeers KS

Here is a new 28mm Dwarven "Three Musketeers" kickstarter that launched today. I bought into the previous Kickstarter from Iron Mask Miniatures and am looking forward to dashing duels in my City Builder streets between the Musketeers and the Cardinals guard. I recommend you check this out:...

Re: City Builder Updates!

This motivated me to pop for the magnetic walls and inn sets in the pre-sale (plus the wicked bits and brazed that were already on my post KS list). Great and highly confidence building update, thanks.

Re: Terrain Tech's New Smoke Machine

That's pretty neat. I have a 19th century victorian house that loves to dress up for Halloween. It's fun to make it so spooky that even I don't like walking around outside after dark. I usually haunt the neighborhood for the last week of October, but only turn on the fog, screams, and groaning that ...

Re: Terrain Tech's New Smoke Machine

I wrestle with 5 large foggers every Halloween and never can keep those cantankerous things all running to my satisfaction on the big night. I also have one of the small water immersion units (mentioned above) and it runs like a champ. I tried using it with my DF stuff, but ended up with too much co...

Re: Terrain Tech's New Smoke Machine

I really like TT fogger. I am a large scale halloween haunter and would not want to go with a traditional fog machine due to glycol residue that would deposit on the gamey bits. These small steam generators are a pretty good application. I wonder how long this one can run, how many minutes between r...

Re: The Future of (DF) Sci-Fi

I didn't get it this time. The current bid is 4x what I paid for the Alpha I have. The Force us string in that bidder.... :D

I also painted a bunch of Grendel, Ainsty, etc stuff to match. It really looks great (just like all things DF).

Re: The Future of (DF) Sci-Fi

I bought a pile of the stuff when it first came out and then a bit more when Jeff was around at a big discount. I kick myself that I only bought one Beta. I have two Gammas, two Alphas, 7 rooms, and 5 passages (plus tons of the fantasy stuff). Enough for the makings of a cool space station or spaces...
