Re: Do we need Kickstarters anymore?

Nate said something on Twitch today that bugged me, and made me dig up this old thread. Nate said something along the lines of “there are always people who complain about price and stretch goals, for some reason. Stuff is expensive in the world right now”. He dismissed it like he couldn’t understand...

Re: Trifecta pieces

I only have one Trifecta piece in my hands at the moment, but I'm really liking its versatility. The ability to use the floor tile as a ledge piece is great. The KS2 ledge pieces are looking a bit dated compared to some of the new style ledge pieces for sure. As ledges the KS2 are dated. But as sma...

They are designed to work together; I doubt they will ever be sold separately. It would be like DF releasing a door pack with no frames.
They absolutely should release a door pack with no frames! I have been hoping for that for that for a while now.

Re: Trifecta pieces

Price has to come down before I buy them Just a FYI there are only a handful of sets/items that have hit the webstore that have been cheaper than the KS; it's a very small amount. Most go up and never come back down. Labor and materials have only gotten more expensive. For those specific sets, yes....

Re: Poll of these options which will keep your KS7 wildlands pledge smaller

I just do outdoor terrain with negative space - it is water i want tiles for sadly DF wants to do water with negative space and outdoor terrain with tiles ahh, irony I have a tough time with the negative space vs water. if I just have large flat 2d tiles and maps, and place water tiles ontop, the w...

Re: Wildlands Survey

The problem with wild terrains is that there are no "boundaries" so it's cheaper to have a big terrain tray with different types of scatter terrain. This has been my biggest hesitation with wildland terrain; the size/space needed for layouts and the cost. Looking forward to seeing what DF...

Re: Do we need Kickstarters anymore?

That's why I said it's a feeling of security instead of a real guarantee. If you had to back a project on Kickstarter or Indiegogo, which would you feel safer with? Both are kind of the same platform, but one has a better reputation. New backers/buyers will spend money when they feel the money will...

Re: Do we need Kickstarters anymore?

With this new format of multiple KS per year with no end in sight, DF could at least try doing one on their own website. The forum serves as a chat, and the threads would organize it better. It could work just like KS, where we pledge money and sort out what we want later.... DF could sell "gif...

Magnets cost more, but I think they hiked the price a bit because it is custom. Price has to come down before I buy them, and I need to be able to get more of the walls.
