Re: Seated tavern patron minis?

There are seven Heroclix minis featuring mystics levitating in seated (cross-legged) poses. They could easily be modded and repainted to be more suitable for FRPG settings.

Re: Oracle Sights Handheld Projection Device Kickstarter (August)

Re: Oracle Sights Handheld Projection Device Kickstarter (August)

I’m pretty sure that’s why it projects the four-square grid in the center. You’d put that grid over the center of the effect, and move the hand-held projector up or down until those four projected squares are the same size as the four squares on the table (mat or tiles). Re: Chromantic Orbs: Nonstandard Paint Job

How do you paint that in three dimensions?

Beach ball on a pedestal of water. Silver burnish for reflective mirror ball. Swirled multicolor pedestal in neon colors. For the wizard’s “private sanctum”. Eyeball. (Bloodshot?) Pedestal painted to resemble red muscle and gray nerves. Globe. Earth, moon, fantasy world, whatever. Pedestal of fluffy...

Re: KS Encounter Ideas

The bridge in the Elevations pack is one inch wide, and Chasms pieces placed straight edge to straight edge can produce narrower spans. But no arches.

Re: KS Encounter Ideas

Natural stone faces. Formed by erosion (on cavern walls), mineral build-up (especially in flowstone, stalagmites, and stalactites), or shearing and arrangement (like the Old Man of the Mountain formerly in New Hampshire, the Huatulco Stone Face, or the “false alarms” in Labyrinth ). They might be ge...

Re: KS Encounter Ideas

Good role playing encounters frequently involve good NPCs for the players to interact with, or at least to kick things off by getting the players talking about the adventure. But what kind of NPCs are they going to encounter in a cavern? Some of the classics are the grizzled prospector, the lost wai...
