Re: Basic KSIII Castle
I REALLY love these streets, and I can't imagine doing without them. I agree! They tie everything together so well, and the 4x4 footprint is perfect for laying over sewers, etc. This was just a basic setup to see how far the walls stretched. I'd have to make a smaller footprint to build a keep in t...

Re: Basic KSIII Castle
How mnay sets? I got 3 Tower and 1 Wall. Hoping that will cover most of my modest needs. I already had the narrow dungeon passages (4 sets = 48), and it worked out that 3 x wall battlements and 3 x tower battlements gave me the perfect number of straight crenelations to match that, along with enoug...

Re: Basic KSIII Castle
It's 3 feet x 2.5 feet. The bases of the towers are perfectly stable thanks to the rubber studs under the KSIII floor pieces. The battlements are less stable, but it still takes a significant bump to knock them off.

Re: City Builder Less Versatile Than Expected
They're just little 100mm x 200mm x 50mm polystyrene foam bricks. They're designed to be stacked for building shelves, etc., so they're fairly dense and durable. I bought them here in Japan for around a dollar each.

Basic KSIII Castle
Here is my first attempt at a castle using the battlements from KSIII. Unfortunately, due to a packing error I'm missing most of the stone floors I'd need to make a keep inside, so it looks a little bare right now. Hopefully this gives people an idea of what you can throw together easily with the ba...

Re: City Builder Less Versatile Than Expected
I finally had a chance to check whether the sewer pieces work with the foam spacers that I'd prepared for my city builds. Thankfully, despite my fears, the sewer height turned out to be compatible with the 50mm spacers. The slightly oversized width of pieces will make it a minor hassle to use them w...

Re: City Builder Less Versatile Than Expected
This is frustrating to say the least... I made my KS3 purchase on the assumption that it would be compatible with existing KS1/2 dwarvenite, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Many things I thought would be possible won't be now, and a lot of side purchases I made will go to waste (foam at the KS...

Re: So... what does "January" mean, exactly?
Thanks to those posting about the ratios for Empire sets. I guess I got double the Pack C and no Pack D instead of 4 of each. Oh well, hopefully it won't take too long to get rectified. I'll email DF once I've gone through the rest to check for other issues.

Re: So... what does "January" mean, exactly?
Can somebody confirm the numbers of each sub-pack that are meant to go in an Empire level pledge? I'm pretty sure I'm missing the majority of my stone tiles, but I need to work out exactly what went wrong. I got the following in my Empire pack: 6 x Packing A 4 x Packing B 8 x Packing C 2 x Packing E...

Re: Quick feedback points
Are the sewer floors tiles longer than the sewer wall sections as well? Or do the sewer walls also not match? How about the sluiceways? This is beginning to give me a headache...
