I agree with others that the sculpts are not as inspiring as Dwarven Forge's. But the right paint job will make it more compatible, and having different looking sections can be very cool. I'm totally out of money right now, may not even be able to add DF during August pre-sale :( Yet with the reason...

Yeah this makes so much sense. I think they should just resculpt this like you have done for dual purpose for KS5. Maybe even a slightly larger platform/window as well - great for larger miniatures.

Great to have a piece that is functional but also can be used as decoration in a logical way.

I don't think that DF is manipulating inventory. I think they got a shipment and/or adjusted the inventory amounts in the webstore just as KS4 ended. During KS4 I too was watching a few unpainted items that I really wanted in the store: Narrow Passages (love the 45s and wanted some more cheaper wall...

I've seen plenty of Kickstarters that offer older items as add-ons or bundled with the new stuff. Particularly in the board game market.

Regarding the Gamemastering book, I've downloaded it and read bits. I'm a fairly new DM who only started running my own game about a year ago and we average meeting only about once a month (occasionally it is 2 months between sessions). We play 3.5 which is the only system that I've actually played....
