Re: My Summer Adventure Campaign
Those are nifty glowing plants Josh! I like the ones with the visible veins, that's a neat effect. And thanks for sharing the link to my lava tiles. That's one of my favorite terrain paint jobs. The story continues: Having followed the shadow-creature some distance into the jungle, the party stops t...

Re: My Summer Adventure Campaign
Thanks guys! AnimeSensei, to answer briefly-- most of the pieces you see here that aren't existing DF or Griffin Tamer items will be forthcoming from GT, mostly in my next Kickstarter (probably late autumn). This includes new CBS compatible roofs and walls, etc. There are a few little custom stone c...

My Summer Adventure Campaign
Hi Folks! I thought I'd share some photos of an adventure campaign I ran over the summer for some friends (one of them a first time RPG player who was super super enthused about his first adventure, the rest old friends and family who have been at it for decades). My campaign setting and game system...

Re: Sorn's City Builder Diorama
Yeah that's a really cool video. Great to see a truly city-sized layout like that, it really does convey the sense of a medieval metropolis… like the city of Valoria, including its docks and castle. Thanks for sharing!

Re: Dwarvenite DF outdoor tiles & accessories
There are lots of considerations involved in making good miniature trees. As far as structure goes, there are really two separate problems: making the trunk/branches, and making the foliage. The trunk & branches are difficult because of all the parts sticking out at different angles, which obvio...

Re: Carven river set up
Thanks for the link Tom! This is a phenomenal layout, it really showcases the beauty of the old resin terrain as well as your terrific creativity. Seems like a really interesting story line you've got going, very original. I love the use of the golems to tunnel upward through the stone, and how you'...

Re: DF village + custom tiles
Hey Trent1098s, Great stuff! And welcome to the forums. --It's amazing how much a little greenery will make a scene come alive, so to speak. Your village square makes a really nice little layout. Very idyllic (and therefore probably even more fun for mischief & mayhem). I especially like the cor...

Re: Forces of Nature
Wow! Another fabulous one! I love the atmospheric night shot. And the use of the photo backdrop. And the owl statue. And that nifty astrolabe / orrery. And how the whole thing is full of detail, but still feels rather spare (like a mountain hermitage) and not cluttered. Well done as always! And I ag...

Re: DF KSIII Scottish castle
Hey, cool build, and a well done, informative blog post! Definitely interesting to see how these pieces can work to create versions of real historic structures. There's often a tension in building between pure aesthetics and playability-- sometimes what looks coolest isn't the easiest layout to actu...

Re: Mountain Elevation "sculpt in progress" for 2" block?
Yes, it's a new mountain cliff block, to match the rest of the mountain cliff pieces. I sculpted it during the pledge manager stretch in the same style as the others. (I believe Stefan added a few bits of moss and whatnot.) --Of course, these should integrate pretty well with the Caverns elevations ...
