Hey all, just wanted to ask the veterans here what they think about the following potential pledge that I am considering. Unfortunately I am on a tight budget and as such, will essentially be picking up what is hopefully a little more than a starter set but not nearly as much as I would like to get....

Excellent set up! This is exactly the type of thing that has always made me interested in DF!

I do see the utility in both. I think Biowizard is right that for longer passages, the KS2 style are preferable, but there is also certainly a lot of use in the new ones. I'd love to have both myself. Of course, a lot will depend on what you plan to use the tiles for to begin with.

As a GM, I do like the idea of the secret corner door, though to be fair, the vaulted walls with inserts serve a very similar purpose. As it stands, I will likely end up getting one of Menagerie, Deadly Corners, or Vaulted Corners, but Im at a bit of an advantage in that I need the corners anyway si...

Just pointing out that unfortunately, you only get one bar insert with Zaltar's as a stretch goal, so if you like the cages, Menagerie is still the way to go.

Secret Door - Pretty much have to get Deadly Corners - DoorPack is overkill for me and i am getting lots of doors in encounters - Menagerie just does not excite me... those are the only three places to get it and i have a thing for secret doors I love the secret door! Great for using them in a game...
