Re: Adventurer Essentials 1-11 + Bread and Butter Question
I’m picking up an Essentials 10-11 core pack to stock up on basic floor tiles. They’re in short supply in most pledges, at least by my reckoning. It has 9! basic floor tiles and 2 or 3 puddle floors, plus a corner entrance, for 70ish dollars painted. Thank you for pointing this pack out - i had nev...

Re: My final pledge. What's yours?
I can’t speak for him but in my pledge I added samples of most things to paint match. Items like the Spirit Tree I think could take a lot more time to research and match so I’m buying the painted version. I can then work on my own if I like and have factory as reference. Painting DF is really enjoya...

Re: Caverns Deep - Elevation
I wonder if cliff pieces really need peg holes to allow them to stack to really tall heights and be stable. When I get above two layers the builds can get a bit fragile. I had zero problems with stability on this... and I'm well above two layers. https://i.imgur.com/J0Yjcoy.jpg https://i.imgur.com/...

Re: My final pledge. What's yours?
Today's version of my Final Pledge.... I ended up cutting some Trees to about 70% coverage for the tiles. Did not really want to do this but looking at a few videos and factoring in that I wanted Trifecta sets (and trees are really quite expensive) I got over it quick enough. I'm starting to see I a...

Re: Caverns Deep - Elevation
I'm not super wild about how elevation is being handled. For super tall heights, I think you just need a super tall wall, like Castles has for dungeon builds. Otherwise, IMO, you end up with just a big stack of blocks and it doesn't look great to me. Similarly, I'm not crazy about the way tiered ca...

Caverns Deep - Elevation
So I thought I would bring up elevations as I don't see many pledges going for specifically the caverns (I am hitting DHF pretty hard too) elevation. I think the common response will be that you already have Erinthor Mountains and it's not a focus. I have a couple sets of Erinthor but one thing that...

Re: Two Kickstarters - One Pledge
Well here is so far my best attempt at pledge bliss. Tried to factor in all of your thoughts and opinions which I appreciate. Mixed in a few painted sets to serve as examples. Encounter 15 - Dreadhollow Forest - Unpainted x1 Heavy Forest Pack - Painted x1 Heavy Forest Pack - Unpainted x2 Light Fores...

Two Kickstarters - One Pledge
I know it's been gone over at nauseum but KSVI in all honesty is not one kickstarter. It is actually TWO Kickstarters wrapped into one pledge decision - Caverns and DHF. IMO, in order to do a proper caverns pledge requires focus on it alone, or be ok with a 5+k pledge where you can get both CD and D...

Re: Pledge Planner Discussion
Going with small tree packs gives you three full height trees and one short tree. So basically you will need to use some extra tree parts to convert these over to the tallest trees version. So in short you will need extra trees to part out. I also like the idea of using two trunks instead of one to ...
