Can I ask what you're painting? Right now just a single wall orb as a test drive. I used Pokorny black and Reaper metallics on top for the opaque bits and that works reasonably well, but the orb itself which I did in Vallejo purple is all blotchy when I turn it on, alas. Do any of you have recommendations for good inks/paints to use on the bits of the LEDs that should remain transparent? Alas my Vallejo Game Inks seem to leave blotches. :/

William, they have loads of different fabrics, I would imagine the linen-cotton one actually is much less fine than most, it's the stuff that gets used for couch cushions/upholstery. I deliberately wanted the coarser/heavier fabric. (Also nice that it doesn't fray easily at all.) Their "Basic C...
