Re: Gen Con 2019
If we run the piece bazaar again it will have to be organized very differently. We dealt with a lot of theft and strange rudeness at the last one. I recall one particular man who shouted at me for about 10 minutes for not having exactly what he wanted. It really took a toll. If we do it, it will pr...

Re: Gen Con 2019
For Sale at the Booth: What should we sell? We are thinking to try stocking a few started sets instead of the chaotic random piece bazaar. Any thoughts? I am definitively in the camp of sell the "Chaotic Random Pieces Bazaar". I've picked up some every year I've attended for the past seve...

Re: Puzzle Floors -- Wow!!
I wish the tiles were metal. There's a room in the Pathfinder Beginner Box Bash that has symbols on the floor. When the PC steps on the tile once it lights up (pull tile and flip it). When the step on the tile a second time it falls apart (remove tile). If the tiles were metal, I could you the handy...

Re: All I Want for Christmas Is . . .
WOW! Santa has arrived a little early here in the USA. Thanks! Curious observation: The KS1 videos have Step 1 as applying a grey drybrush before highlighting individual bricks. What changed? (As I have a small collection and purchased the grey Porkorny paint, I may continue this step so all my fini...

All I Want for Christmas Is . . .
All I Want for Christmas Is . . . Updated Dungeons of Doom Painting Videos ;) I'm a teacher and I have two weeks off the holiday season. I am planning on spending some time painting my DoD pieces. I've got the basics down, just hoping for some tips on some of the specialty pieces. Do I need to sing?...

Re: Painting LED walls?
I painted the corner wall led. I cut a small piece of blue painters tape to just the right size. I covered both the switch and the 2 hole LED contacts. Worked just fine. When painting the LED green globe, I carefully held it with a pair of pliers gripping the contacts. I also carefully pressed the c...

Re: How do you group / organize your DOD pieces
Small time here so I keep it simple:
Five plastic shoe-box storage tubs:
1 - floors
1 - straight & diagonal walls
1 - rest of the walls
1 - all the other types of pieces
1 - all my unpainted pieces
Jail bars and passage walls are sitting on a shelf so they are not damaged in the tubs.

Re: How Long Does it Go On?
Now, interestingly enough this question was brought up many years ago within the miniature market and from what it appears there has been no decline in interest and purchase. My guess is it will stay strong and not waiver just like the pre-painted miniature market. I have a collection of WizKids Pa...

If I would have know ... With Dungeons of Doom KS, I got a good variety of pieces with my micro pledge. In the few months that I have been painting and using them I have found that I really like the Passage Wall pieces with the metal tabs. I use them a lot! When the Caverns Deep! PM opened I looked ...
