Re: "2x2" floors pieces
I think the V shaped cut-outs are only visible when using a tri-post to bridge two wall sections. Any hint from DF whether they'll offer a "straight" double sided post to eliminate this issue? Either way, it's not a big deal to me and I'm impressed with the options they've previewed so far.

Re: Double sided floors - convince us
On second thought, a better option might be as follows: 1. Rustic floors - one side wood, one side stone 2. Fancy floors - one side wood, one side stone This way people who only want rustic aren't paying for fancy and vis-versa. The downside is that if you're only building in the fancy theme, you do...

Re: Double sided floors - convince us
Huh, I thought it was an awesome idea.
I can get a pack of (say) 10 wood floors and 10 stone floors. Now I can build a mix of buildings in either of the new aesthetics (40 total floor faces to choose from), but only need to own 20 floors.
What's not to love about that?

Re: Twitch/Discord updates?
Wow, I just scanned through the Twitch steam. Didn't have time to take it all in, but the stuff I saw looked incredible. Hoping I can expand my current CBS options by getting just a bit of everything new and don't find myself too deep in on the next one... In any case, really happy with what I'm see...

Awesome, thanks! Would love to hide this inside a giant cavern complex for the fantasy rpg PCs to discover.

Re: Dwarvenite Sci Fi Set
Well one thing they could consider would be taking some of the tile to tile connection tech to allow one to join floor and wall tiles together and have integrated LEDs without local batteries, just a power connection to power them up. Should make each tile less complicated and that avoid the batter...

Re: Dwarvenite Sci Fi Set
Wouldn't a spaceship used in the outdoors environment be placed on top of the outdoor tiles? At least that's how I'm imagining it. Meanwhile when integrated with an indoors build (caverns, dungeons), it would be build in line with the indoor tiles? This was my reasoning for thinking sci-fi sets sho...

Re: Grids the final word ...... ?
Looking at the latest images I can find, still not sure about the grid on Raging River, Swamp Water, Mountain Lake and Dismal Quagmire is a good thing. But, it's really hard to tell how subtle it really is. I have it all gridded now. But with the reopened PM I could get a full set of everything wat...

Re: Mountains Question about making height
Yeah, totally fair point. And to clarify, I have tons of the DF stilt system parts (plus CBS floor/columns, Elevation Box, columns, cavern risers, terrain trays, etc.), but sometimes feels wasteful putting those on the inside of an elevation build.
