Re:Ball python wanted in on the action.

Please tell me you feed it by actually releasing rats into a maze made of DF kits...(maybe put a laminate over the top!)

Re:Why so long between restocks?

<t>Regardless of the reasons, this is one of the things which has bugged me for the past 12 years that I\'ve been collecting DF stuff. All of my 12+ sets have been purchased second hand on ebay because the shop never has anything in stock.<br/> <br/> I\'d probably own a significantly larger number o...

Re:MM Models That Will Be Used With My DF Stuff

<t>Put me down as an Alexi-Z fan...my favourite of the bunch. However I tend to have a \'less is more\' approach to miniature painting. If this were a \"who has the most skill\" question I\'d probably pick one of the others. But I think Alexi-Z hits the perfect level of style, colour and composition...

Re:Lava/Fire dungeon with Dwarvenite

<t>I think the overall scheme would look better if you didn't try to put lava between every single stone in the floor. It would look a bit more organic if you just had lava seeping through various tiles in various places...pooling on a few tiles etc.<br/> <br/> If I saw a full set of game tiles pain...

Re:Icy Dungeon with Dwarvenite

Some snow flock and some modeled icecycles adorning the walls would do wonders to convey the frozen feel.

Re:Some "routine" Dwarven Forge pics.

<t>That's a darn good question...the layout on the beige cloth was never played on/in. I was more doing an inventory of the pieces, having recently moved across country. When I start work on my game, I'm not sure how I'll do dungeon progression, so rooms may be separated on the table, or I'll use th...

Some "routine" Dwarven Forge pics.

<t>Long time DF owner (though I've rarely used them!), new to the forums. I'll be in here more often as I'm going to be beginning a dungeon crawl game at some point (almost finished with my Old West game!).<br/> <br/> <br/> <br/> <br/> <br/> <br/> <br/> Nothing too fancy or elaborate, just some pict...

Re:Taverns & Caverns

This is the kind of stuff I joined this forum for. Simply superb. I have a hefty set of DF stuff I've almost never used (will change soon). I can only hope to end up with something that nice...cripes. Love the use of the green-gridded mat for external play/entry/exit.

Re:More floor tiles!

<t>While not a perfect solution, ebay is awash with imitation kits, some plaster pieces, some resin etc. Floor pieces are hugely important with Dwarven Forge stuff. However, it's also the easiest to replicate without ruining the look of your dungeon.<br/> <br/> Another option is to make your own, ou...

Re:Game Tiles Review

I definitely see a difference. While I ordered mine unpainted, I'd expect a similar handpaint job to the resin pieces (which I have a ton of). Personally, I agree it looks like a step was skipped or skimped on.
