Re: KS - Tree Village (STL Files)

It does look pretty busy in their pics, but it looks a lot better in the renders. I'm attributing that to poorly chosen front-lighting in the pics.

I'm thinking it would make for a really fun one-shot. Maybe populated with some 'temperate climate' grung...

KS - Tree Village (STL Files)

I just came across a new campaign that was an instant-back for me. Tree Village https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/968660672/tree-village I don't know if any of the folks who have been clamoring for buildings in trees are also in the 3D Printing Crowd (of if it's just me!) but I thought I'd share,...

Re: KS - Monster Fight Club - Ice Wilds

I'm gonna go ahead & say it - I think I prefer the MFC conifers to the Wildlands ones. They have DF beat on modularity here. Not saying DF couldn't do better if they wanted to - they had a TON of pieces to make, and spending 4-5 molds on a single conifer would be a tough sell. The MFC ones are b...

Re: Reinforcing my Ikea Alex Drawers

I did end up doing the rest of the drawers supported front-to-back, and although the look isn't as clean, I'm very happy with the support it offers. I've got all my Caverns Deep & Hellscape loaded into the first unit, and so far so good! They really do fit a lot of dwarvenite - much more then I ...

Re: Shop is open and stocked with Hell

That was probably my smoothest restock experience!

I picked up 1 x Lava Walls, Floors & Corners - Painted, 2x Spouted Floor/Transition Pack, and 1 x Lava Cave Entrance Pack - Painted. Should give me a little more build versatility & let me tie into caverns smoothly. Looking forward to it!

Re: KS - Monster Fight Club - Ice Wilds

I may do a set of the green evergreens to mix up my current assortment, but I feel like a couple snow covered packs would be great as well to really make scenes feel different.

Re: What's the latest of Plaguestone?

I don't know if it's Dwarven Forge related or not, but I HAVE gotten my plaguestone address confirmation, and just now I got a fed ex alert about a delivery tomorrow...

Will it be plaguestone? Or a disappointment?

Re: Light Puck

I think the light puck is an amazing value add to the terrain. But I think DF made one critical error - they named it a 'light puck'. Looking at the discussion here, I get where people are coming from. That's an expensive light. There's cheaper ways to get light in there. Why do I need to worry abou...
