Re: Official Teaser #3

That's just a rumour... :-) I LOVE rumors, I always find out amazing things about myself I never knew... Anon --or if you prefer-- Be hospitable to rumors, for however grotesque they are, they always...

Re: Start time?
I am truly and genuinely thankful for Jenney, who makes sure that i won't miss anything important while i skip the 29,500 comments that are not so important! Can I give that a sound second! ...and if some coffee would help, I'll buy you some... Correct me if I'm wrong - being early or on time doesn...

Re: Good Enough Studios meets City Builder System
I have not finished my CBS stuff but have to see how they look together - works for me!!! 7 Side View.JPG I did a little adjustment of the bricks between photos - I think it adds a little something (like a little more brush work to get the paint onto all edges)! Also, the DF CBS building looks blue ...

Re: Good Enough Studios meets City Builder System
So, I think I am in a happy place and ready to start mass production.... 6 All 3 Prototypes.jpg On the "to do" list Canal Sections: Develop Curves and a End piece. Roads: Not sure I need to develop any more pieces. I can end streets with "laid over" pieces like the sidewalk, don'...

Re: Good Enough Studios meets City Builder System
The water looks very nice. :!: Thanks! While happy with the effect (beat my Podge with a plastic spoon) I'm thinking the color doesn't look bad enough - used dark blue and the Modge Podge "lightened everything up". Also, want to add debri (logs, buckets?, sludge, brush, etc)... Anyone kno...

Re: Good Enough Studios meets City Builder System
So, going to make 10-20 of these style tiles plus two to six curves (if I decide to "moat" my KS4 castle I'll need more the larger number). I will be moving the canal edge into the tile by 2mm to allow me to build up the back side of the canal edge as well as the front. Going to add "...

Re: Good Enough Studios meets City Builder System
Working on building up the inner canal walls first. Still have to mod the stairs (like the look I got on the top stair and need to carry it down). All I had was aquarium rock on hand and not happy with that look. Have to get me some pea gravel - as soon as it stops snowing! 4 Building Up the Walls.j...

Re: Good Enough Studios meets City Builder System
Normally, I use silicone caulk for water effects. But, this time I decided to try Modge Podge.

Re: Good Enough Studios meets City Builder System
Then added posts to the other side as I decided that the boats are for passenger and commercial traffic. I will alternate the launch points from tile to tile (e.g. launch on left bank, next tile right bank, next tile left and and so on). So, added posts to the other side in a much more chaotic manne...
