Re: The City Port
I like the use of elevation for the city. You wouldn't happen to have some sewers hidden under there, would you? Thanks. Definitely thought about it, but really wasn't necessary for the encounter and would have only been for me. Not that that usually stops me. Elevation was just with some trays bec...

Re: First KS6 Builds
Totally know what you're all saying. The edges of terrain trays sticking out does bother me a bit too. Felt or construction paper might work well, but I wonder if something more flexible would be more... flexible. Ha. What I mean is more like a black cotton bedsheet than thick felt. You could have m...

Re: Did Caverns Deep really have the basic needs?
Totally agree with a lot said above. There's a balance to strike between bread and butter pieces and the full encounters. I think another thing that adds complexity is the desire to offer a 'tiered' entry point. The desire to have cheaper sets, that still include some flashier pieces and aren't just...

Re: Dreadhollow Forest Paint Schemes
Looks absolutely stunning. The forest floors particularly with colourful leaves everywhere. Very well done. Do you plan on painting your whole set in fall theme or going to go with a combination? So many of the factory painted pieces and DF in general looks fantastic, but my one wish sometimes is th...

Re: I'm Just Going to Leave This Here...
This is extremely cool. Thanks for the photos. Though it just makes me really wish I got a boat (or two for some flexibility). This was my first DF Kickstarter and can't believe some of the decisions I made in the moment that seemed like a good idea at the time. Budget? What budget. Having a budget ...

Re: The City Port
Thanks guys! It’s a happy coincidence my first campaign is heavily ship based! Ha. Agree on the docks. Would be nice, but think it’s sailed for me too. These look pretty good and work great. With a little love and paint, they could look truly amazing. I was also real tempted by the ship. But not qui...

Re: Hommlet Moathouse
Very nicely done! There's something so satisfying about re-creating maps in glorious 3D.

The City Port
Finally returned home and integrated a little of my new CD with some of the rest of my collection. Mostly City Builder with some Dungeons and hand crafted pieces (crane and fountain). I guess in the end terrain trays (and sneaky forge) are really the only CD pieces in there, ha, but campaign dictate...

Re: Lost Mine of Phandelver: Cragmaw hideout
Love this build! Brings back fond memories. My friends and I also started our DnD lives with this adventure and the campaign is still going strong. It's a really good intro to the game. Wish I could rewind time and start with all the dwarvenforge I've collected along the way. Also, that forest encou...
