Re: Leave no bean behind...

We would like some 4x4 pavements/sidewalks that do not have the decorative mosaic as you can see below: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51939862704_de5a581bec_3k.jpg Sadly we do not think we will see any in cities Untold :( As we think its going to be a fight to get the irregular shape inserts ...

Re: What's a good Wildlands light source (that WASN'T made)?

Glowing lichen on the escarpments (glow paint). The spirit tree also has a light in it and would fit well into a wildlands build. I wonder how a tangle of fiber optics would look on a rotating base. In the dark, it might look like circling fireflies? There's probably a way to make it look OK for the...

Re: Would you sacrifice modularity/versatility for size and beauty?

I prefer ease of building to modularity, but I also want terrain that stores easily. Also depends what it is. Modular dungeons make sense. Modular roofs are just a fiddly PITA. Modular castles were a disaster IMHO and never worked out for me. Modular mountains with Erinthor tended towards small and ...

Re: Curious about pledge options

Not gonna estimate what I'll pledge, it's always way over or under what I think it'll be. I am also not interested in multi-part roofs, fiddly bits, or anything that takes me off the 4 inch grid established by CBS street and floor tiles. There seems to be an impetus to get off grid, but that sounds ...

Re: Do you want a 6" x 6" forest tile with no stumps, no big rocks, no mud pools?

DF apparently got too caught up in the rule of cool to ground these tear drops in sound engineering. These teardrop fit issues and reported broken trees indicate DF has exceeded the design limits for this material. Hopefully a learning experience for KS8. From the last OtA, it sounds like they're m...

Re: Do you want a 6" x 6" forest tile with no stumps, no big rocks, no mud pools?

Depends on cost, but I'd probably buy 3 or 4 packs to replace my teardrop tiles. I was planning on gluing the teardrops and green-stuffing the gaps, but the fit is so bad I'm not sure that will work well. I think I gotta try though. I got unpainted so I have a little more flexibility for gluing and ...

Re: Focused Feedback: Teardrop Inserts

I just want a pack of 6x6 (or better, 4x4) forest tiles, with no trees and no inserts. Law, that looks very nice. The teardrop hole is great, as an occasional feature. Thanks! I think that last point is key. I, personally, am finding that I just need to rethink my framing of how prevalent these are....

Re: Lessons from KS7

I like the idea of magnets, but I don't have much faith that would it turn out that well. They've done a pretty good job with anchor magnets, but many of the other magnetic pieces I've tried has been a problem. Out of 8 gables, I think have 1 left that hasn't lost its magnet. At least half of my sti...

Re: Lessons from KS7

The cities market as I have said a million times is insanely saturated with a wide variety of options from modular to non modular but incredibly intricate. Can you elaborate, because if there are good modular options other than Dwarven Forge, I want to know about them! Specifically, options that ar...
