Re: Oddball Rooms & Partial Layout Ideas (+Add More+)
Cool little set-up Mobius, I see you were in on Elye's KS. 8-) What am I looking at in the middle of the room? Those white tiles with a pattern. Home made floor tiles or something else? :?: They are customized Hirst Arts floor tiles I got from a KS project a couple of years ago. My plan was to pain...

Re: Open Water - PLEASE!
I would order a set or two. It's not a sexy set idea, but a very useful one. I could really use some more open water tiles in my DF builds for: Larger/wider underground lakes Pools of sewage water in sewers Moats around castles Canals in Valorian Cities City docks While the piece itself may be simpl...

Re: Oddball Rooms & Partial Layout Ideas (+Add More+)
My son and I were playing around with the Cavern tiles on the weekend. Here's my half of our build to show a few quick ideas I had. The first was to make a Dungeon Tiles tower in the middle of an underground lake (this would be cooler with the KS3 city tiles). There's a bridge connecting it to the c...

Re: DF City Presale is live !!!!
I've not been able to find the answer to this yet: If we backed the kickstarter and want to add on some things from the presale, will they ship at the same time or is it considered a separate purchase with separate shipping? dice4hire is correct. The answer is in the Pre-sale announcement off the m...

Re: DF City Presale is live !!!!
My pre-order is placed: 4 more add-ons including some KS2 Water Tiles (1 set of those was not enough). I placed my original KS pledge, added more in the Pledge Manager, and more again in the pre-sale. Sadly, I still don't have everything I want. The scope of this KS is gigantic and all of it is amaz...

Re: DF City Presale is live !!!!
I'm calculating shipping weights so I must be getting close to finalizing. Shipping rates are in 5 lb. increments, so my order will likely weigh 14.5 lbs or 19.5 lbs. US exchange rate is bad, so I'm saving every penny I can. I found some of the City set weights to be interesting: Braziers: 1.2 lbs M...

Re: DF City Presale is live !!!!
I have a question too.
Can we mix in some KS1 and KS2 stuff with our KS3 pre-order?
I realize that the in-stock stuff would not ship until January, but it's cheaper for shipping to order everything in one big order. The DF shopping cart will let me add both so I figure it's probably OK.

Re: DF City Presale is live !!!!
Those Tudor and Stone Starter backs are amazing - a very good value and great variety. All of these pre-sale prices are much less than I expected. They're only a tiny bit higher than the KS prices. I did some practice orders, and it's not listing any Shipping costs. Does anyone know how shipping cha...

Re: Please post home-made DF Compatible pieces
I have limited artistic skills. That Dragon's Head Mosaic is from somewhere on the internet. Here's roughly the steps I followed: 1) Find a picture for your mosaic on the internet - something simple 2) Save a local copy 3) Crop it down to the essential image, and a roughly 2:1 size ratio 4) Save it ...

Re: Please post home-made DF Compatible pieces
I also modded a couple of dungeon tiles into spike tiles. They're good for many different uses (including accidentally injuring your hand). I drilled 16 holes in 2 floor tiles and then attached 16 nails through a thin metal sheet. It would probably look better if I painted the nails instead of leavi...
