jackattacks idea has merit - it could be done in a parquet style so the grid could be visible and the edges would look good too I DO NOT like the idea of the 2x2 tiles having the shifted grid. I like the Mix - tudor houses and taverns, stone churches and jails etc. I like both roofs, but i will buy an extra slate so i can flip the 2x4 and have a tudor house with a slate roof to create variety.
