Re: Official KS5 "Trading" & Buy/Sell Pieces - Aftermarket Thread.
I can't wait for Jade Serpent stuff to start landing for people. If anyone ended up with excess, I'd be happy to try to work something out for a token quantity. Not looking to buy entire encounters, but if someone wanted to trade a little cash for KSVI with half an antechamber or something, maybe so...

Re: hate to bring up the trade war with china, but...
And yeah, I've had campaigns take so many years that the value of what I paid shifted pretty substantially by the time it actually delivered (on the 3-5+ year range). That is, indeed, life on a major Kickstarter or two. 3-5 years. W-t-F? I've never (thankfully) had one take that long. That's insane...

Re: hate to bring up the trade war with china, but...
Currencies float in a global marketplace and fluctuate based on a variety of different factors. Fluctuation in value can happen regardless of a trade war. The pickle we may find ourselves in is a result of the shortsightedness of the US, Canada, and EU - for not cultivating other manufacturing cent...

Re: hate to bring up the trade war with china, but...
There have been projects that had issues like this in the past. The first Heavy Gear KS by Dream Pod 9, I believe, had an issue with holding the funds in one currency (Canadian dollars, I believe) while working with US factories. Between the completion of the campaign and production, the currencies ...

Re: KS6 Launch Date
It's certainly an amazing marketing opportunity, but as an irregular Gencon attendee, it's also a time where I've already laid out money up front for travel, lodgings, food, and walking around cash. Having another half a grand (or ten times as much) to commit to a KS like DF runs isn't ever easy, bu...

Re: KS6 Launch Date
Yeah, 'July' was the last I'd heard as well. Given the, ahem, vocal nature of a few 'omg why are they running a campaign while the last is still shipping' types in the comments, I support them taking the time to get as much in the mail first as possible. Just looking forward to the wave form of unce...

Re: KS6 Launch Date
Looping back around to the thread topic, have there been any further updates to the launch date? I keep an eye on the various KS pages, Facebook, and here, but it's easy for things to slip between the cracks. I know it has been pushed back a few times, but they're also teasing work being done in pre...

Re: KS6 Launch Date
Totally understandable, Nate. Thanks for the heads up. I was eagerly looking forward to the June campaign, but having watched plenty of people complain or express concern about running one campaign while the other is delivering (despite 3 previous successful and timely campaigns before #4), this doe...

Re: Suggestions from the peanut gallery
I'm not sure that's much of a rumour, I'm pretty sure they've openly said a couple of times that the terrain trays proved to be popular and would be returning.
But a good thing to have reiterated all the same.
