Dwarven Forge compatible Egyptian dungeon tiles actually exist, check out:

The tiles are actually made of a sort of plaster cast that actually feels like sandstone.

Re: Did Lowtown have a rockstar piece?
For me the MVP pieces are the double high walls, Dormer Windows and many of the lowly dressing packs, like kitchen, cottage, manorhouse and window dressing sets. The reason I say this is that I believe in time those packs will demonstrate how the dressings really take builds to such an elevated next...

Re: Question to people who went deep into Wildlands
If I only had money to do Dreadhollow/Wildlands or one of the city sets I would go with the great outdoors. A few thoughts from a painter. I'll just say if you like painting at all, buy unpainted pieces except maybe the most exotic plants and trees and go to town with the original DH scheme. Your e...

Re: Unpopular opinion corner: KS8 is.. surprisingly MORE affordable than I expected?
I thought that initially myself, but it doesn't hold up once you start digging into the sets. This is the worst offender IMO as it clearly demonstrates how pricy this is now: https://citiesuntold.dwarvenforge.com/en-ca/collections/all-sets/products/8-a161-p-fieldstone-grand-walls-posts-painted That ...

Re: Question for KS3 fans
I adore my city pieces from KS3 and find it still sad that I had no clue what Dwarven Forge was back when that Kickstarter ran as I would have easily gone wild with empire pledges! That said, I view the pieces I have right now as cornerstone pieces that could easily fade into the background when I s...

Re: Coverage
Oh and with regards to coverage, the heart of the forest and heart of the mountain are about 2x2 so getting 2 of those sets would give you just shy of a 3x3. Sorry to correct you there Law, but a 5x4 would be crazy good coverage! To visualize it more this way were an X is a 1x1: 1 Set XX XX 2 Sets X...

Re: Coverage
I went mostly unpainted this time for the first time, with the exception of an explore the swamp painted as I wanted paint masters of those pieces which looked to be the most complex to paint. Having now had a chance to paint all 3 biomes of my Heart of the Wild, I can safely say there is major savi...
