Depending on how high a level they are, you could try it and see how far off they are from the challenge at 10. If they are close, you can look at the scaling and mimic that. If the scaling at 9 is 3 monsters, and at 9 it is 4 monsters, you could try running with 5-6 monsters and see how it works. I...

I am also finding my group runs through 2 of the rooms in 3.5 hours. It's possible to go faster, but that's a good pace. So, if you are playing weekly and run 3.5 hour sessions, you could do the first 6 encounters (already out) in 7 weeks and by then should have the next adventures out to continue.

The team is refining the last encounters with several playtests underway. I'm running my players through it (we just went through the Doomroller - it was very challenging!) and having a lot of fun doing so.
