City Builder System: Tudor Buildings
Important note: the steps for the Tudor paint theme changed between our original City Builder System release and the newest Cities Reforged: Tudor Village campaign. The updated paint theme will not be available for our painted sets until Tudor Village is launched on our webstore. By then, we will have an updated PDF paint guide to accompany these new sets.
When the new guide is ready, we will keep both the City Builder System and Tudor Village PDFs on this page for reference. In the meantime, these are the updated steps for Tudor Village walls:
- Paint all wooden components with a Black base coat.
- Apply a heavy dry brush over the wooden sections in Base Wood. Let this step dry.
- Mix a 1:1 ratio of Base Wood and Stucco. Lightly dry brush the wooden sections with this mixture.
- Mix Stucco, Lava Yellow, and White in a 2:2:1 ratio. Paint layers of this mixture onto the Tudor stucco until the paint is fully opaque. This should take 2 to 3 coats. Let this step dry.
- Mix Base Wood, Earth Stone, and Black in a 2:2:1 ratio. Apply this mixture as a wash over the stucco areas. Concentrate the wash primarily on the edges of the stucco sections.
