Perilous Frontiers Desert

Disclaimer: These are approximate paint steps used on the prototypes for our Desert scheme from Perilous Frontiers. These steps may change once we begin production to better match the final factory paint.

Paints needed

White, Olive Dry Brush, Base Wood, Terracotta, Lava Yellow, (Golden Brand) Raw Umber, (Golden Brand) Burnt Sienna, (Golden Brand) Sepia.

Sand

Step 1: Base opaque color: Olive Dry Brush, Golden Raw Umber, and White mix.

Step 2: Sand wash: Golden Burnt Sienna, Base Wood, Olive Dry Brush, and Golden Raw Umber mix.

Step 3: Dry brush at least two times: Terracotta, School Bus, White, Lava Yellow, and Olive Dry Brush.

Rocks

Step 1: Base opaque color: Olive Dry Brush, Golden Raw Umber, and White mix (same as sand).

Step 2: Wash using Golden Sepia.

Step 3: Apply dip to lower half of rock excluding driftstones that are double sided
Dip color mix: Golden Burnt Sienna, Base Wood, Olive Dry Brush, and Golden Raw Umber mix (same mix as sand wash but applied opaque, not as wash).

Step 4: Dry brush multiple times heavy: White, Lava Yellow, and Olive Dry Brush.
